THEIR WORDS
My name is Ndayiragije Hyacinthe and I study in Secondary 4. When I am home during the holidays I help in different activities. I clean my sleeping room and dining room and help keep the grounds tidy. I do this in the morning. In the afternoon I play with other children. Some of us play football, volleyball and basketball. I listen to music and I dance the traditional dances, but my favorite sport is volleyball.
I have friends in my school and near the orphanage. On the holidays I visit the neighbors and friends and help them in different activities with their families.
My name is Sifa Solange, I am a student in S1 and I am happy to study in secondary school. My favorite subjects are physics, English and geography. In primary school I had many friends: boys and girls, and these friends are in secondary school like me.
When I am home at the Imbabazi I help with the cleaning and study my lessons. My favorite sports are jumping and running and I like singing.
My name is Kobwa Furaha Florence. I am a student in P6. My favorite subjects are languages. We study by session: The first session is from 7:15 to 12:00 and the second session is from 1:00 to 4:45. I am happy because my friends and I are all in the same session.
When I am not at school, I help in the kitchen and clean the bathrooms and wash my clothes. I go to the church on Sunday. After praying, I visit my friends near the orphanage.
